Junior Associate
- Duties
- Review general ledger accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries
- Prepare the adjusted trial balance and financial statements
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts
- Prepare income tax returns
- Assist with audit fieldwork, including preparing audit work papers
- Prepare the following tax returns:
- Sales and use tax returns
- Payroll tax returns, including annual W-2 and W-3 filings
- Form 1099 and related informational returns
- Form 571-L
- City business licenses
- Track fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules
- Skill Set
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, technical and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Quickbooks; Proficiency with other accounting and tax software preferable
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance preferred; fulfillment of accounting courses a must
- Minimum one year of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Full-Charge Bookkeeper
- Duties
- Manage bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Prepare month-end adjusting journal entries
- Perform month-end closings
- Prepare and review trial balances and financial statements
- Payroll processing
- Prepare the following tax returns:
- Sales and use tax returns
- Payroll tax returns, including annual W-2 and W-3 filings
- Form 1099 and related informational returns
- Form 571-L
- City business licenses
- Track fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules
- Skill Set
- Minimum five years experience required; CPA-firm experience preferred
- Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Quickbooks required
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in business or accounting preferred
Accounting Intern
- Duties
- Enter and/or upload source transaction information into accounting software
- Download source documents from clients and prepare for outsourcing
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare routine period-end journal entries
- Assist staff with data entry and other tasks
- Prepare the following tax and inforamtion returns:
- Sales and use tax returns
- Form 1099 and related informational returns
- Form 571-L
- Skill Set

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
